We are the Am-Ha’lev, the People of the Heart.
Teshuvah Ministries was established by Isaac and Rebekah Garvin in 2012 after an intense 7 year journey with Ransomed Heart Ministries to learn what King Solomon meant when he said, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Prov. 3:23. And what Yehoshua meant when he said, "The Spirit of YHVH is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has send me to proclaim deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the YHVH’s favor." Luke 4:18.
With a clear understanding of the importance of heart-level healing and guarding our hearts our ministry then grew into understanding the rest of what Yahshua meant that day when he read from the Isaiah scroll. Our ministry now has the overarching goal of promoting 3 things:
We are captured-by and in-love with YHVH Elohim. We recognize that the call on our life is no different than the call on your life:
Therefore, giving back to The Creator our gifts, talents and callings we offer the trumpet of our voices, our experience and abilities to help guide Scattered Israel onto the Narrow Path of the Royal and Everlasting Melchizedek Priesthood. As the editors of Dr. David Perry Th.D.'s books on the Melchizedek priesthood (a long story!) we have a firm and intimate understanding of the change IN Torah that was enacted through the work of Yeshua and what priesthood is available to Israel now.
It is ordained for us to be Their Image bearers and make order out of the chaos-making by going back down this road to clear it of rocks and potholes so that others can walk this Narrow Path without stumbling.
We believe in a process we have coined called: Learn. Live. Tell.
We pray that you LEARN what the Narrow Path is and how to travel it. And then while you are learning it we hope that you LIVE it. Then join us in TELLING it and making level paths for others.
Our mantra and what drives us is these commands (and others like them):
Rebekah has created a Master-Level Kingdom Life Coaching Program at Kingdom University. This is for those who are repenting and returning to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but who need some support, input and encouragement in daily life as they travel the Narrow Path. We need sponsors for people (especially women) who can't afford the cost, but who really want to and need to take part in this very unique and offered-no-where-else Kingdom Life Coaching!
Once you click on the blue button below it will take you to our website donation page. Scroll down to find option #4. Click on that to sponsor someone today! Watch Rebekah's video explaining our Kingdom Life Coaching.
We work for Yahshua and we are his disciples. But over the years, we have called ourselves.... "Hebrews who believe in Yahshua the Messiah," "Followers of Yahshua," "Ephraim," "part of the Scattered 10 tribes"..... But we have landed on "Melchizedek priest" as it is a “title of identity” that lines up the most accurately with the call of Yahshua. It best describes our acknowledgement and response to the change in Torah that he enacted and the call on our life on this side of his death and resurrection. Yahshua, our Rabbi was made the high-priest and king after the order of Melchizedek. Those of us who have taken our place in his New Covenant and have made him our head (authority) are his priests to the world. His royal priesthood...his Melchizedek priests.
Unlock the Vault at Kingdom University for more about this and other resources that will help to unpack this amazing and beautiful Truth of the Melchizedek Priesthood for you.
Why don't we call ourselves Christian, Jewish or Messianic (Hebrew Roots)? Why do we call ourselves Melchizedek priests? Find out and read more at Kingdom University! For just a small fee you can unlock the Vault to many articles on the matter that are not found anywhere else. The small fee helps you feel invested in your access to the Vault and also helps us continue our ministry.
Though we have some things in common with our Christian friends and family, we are not Christians primarily because of 4 reasons. UNLOCK THE VAULT at KU and find out.
Though we have some things in common with our brother Judah (known as the Jews), we are not Jewish primarily because of these reasons. UNLOCK THE VAULT at KU and find out.
Though we have some things in common with our Messianic (Hebrew Roots) friends, we are not Messianic because of these reasons. UNLOCK THE VAULT at KU and find out.
