Isaac and Rebekah began a journey of doing ministry together in 2003, but Teshuvah Ministries was born in 2012 after an intense 7 year journey with Ransomed Heart Ministries to learn what King Solomon meant when he said, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Prov. 3:23. And what Yehoshua meant when he said, "The Spirit of YHVH is on me, because He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has send me to proclaim deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the YHVH’s favor." Luke 4:18. 

With a clear understanding of the importance of heart-level healing and guarding our hearts our ministry then grew into understanding the rest of what Yehoshua meant that day when He read from the Isaiah scroll. Our ministry now has the overarching goal of promoting 3 things: 

1. A full understanding of Yah's Epic Story we were born into.
2. The HEART of the gospel message (that Papa Yah's heart is really GOOD!)
3. The Narrow Path by which we must walk to attain salvation to the Happily-Ever-After.

We are captured-by and in-love with YHVH Elohim. We recognize that the call on our life is no different than the call on your life: 

1. To repent
2. To become light
3. To produce good fruit

Giving back to The Creator, YHVH Elohim our gifts, talents and callings we offer the trumpet of our voices, our experience and abilities to help guide Scattered Israel onto the Narrow Path of the Royal and Everlasting Melchizedek Priesthood. As the editors of Dr. David Perry Th.D.'s books on the Melchizedek Priesthood we have a growing, yet firm and intimate understanding of the change IN Torah that was enacted through the work of Yehoshua and the only Priesthood that is available to Israel now.

Humans were ordained to be Image bearers and make order out of the chaos-making. As students of Ye'shua's we do this by going up and down The Narrow Path to clear it of rocks and potholes and set up lamp posts so that others can walk the Path without stumbling. 

We have coined this process: Learn. Live. Tell. We pray that you LEARN what the Narrow Path is and how to travel it. And then while you are learning it we hope that you LIVE it. Then join us in TELLING it so together we can make level paths for others. 

–– What drives us

What drives us is these commands (and others like them):

• "Build up, build up, prepare the road! Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people." Is. 57:14; Luke 3:4; Mark 1:3. 

• "After your sifting...strengthen your brothers and sisters." Luke 22:32

• "Seek first HIS Kingdom (the Scattered)...." Matt. 6:33

• "Blessed are they that do his [YHVH's] commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." Rev. 22:14 

• "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Matt. 5:16

• But whoever shall do and teach them [the commandments] shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Matt. 5:17-20

• "Behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me to give every man according to his works." Rev. 22:12

• "Who at the time of Great Tribulation, will be considered to be a wise and faithful servant of the Master,who has been made a steward over his Masters household? The servant who continues to give the household adequate nourishment of the times! Blessed that servant will be when his master finds him feeding His household when He comes. Truth, He will make him ruler over all his possessions." Matt. 24:45-47

• "Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded, declares YHVH." Jer. 31:16

• "Go to them [the Scattered] and help them [the Scattered] do all that I have commissioned..." Matt. 28:18-20 (Shem Tov)

We are disciples of Ye'shua. His talmidin. His taught ones. We fight alongside Ye'shua for the freedom of the human heart and we are His disciples. Over the years, it's been hard to figure out what box we live in. We have called ourselves things like: 

• "Hebrews who believe in Ye'shua the Messiah" 
• "Followers of Ye'shua" 
• "Part of Ephraim" 
• "Part of the Scattered 10 Tribes" 

Recently, we have been calling ourselves,

• "Brit Torah Observant Believers in Ye'shua."  (Covenant Law Observant...)

All of those are correct, but we generally we fall back on,

• "Melchizedek priests" 

This is a title of identity [a "box"]. PLEASE KNOW IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MORMONS TAKE ON THIS PRIESTHOOD! No! Our High Priest is Ye'shua, who is in power as the Head of YHVH's Eternal Melchizedek Priesthood and who has rendered the Levitical priesthood obsolete (Hebrews 7-12). So, we feel the title of "Melchizedek priest / priestess" lines up the most accurately with our beliefs and the call of Rabbi and High Priest Ye'shua. It best describes our acknowledgement and response to the change in Torah that He enacted and the call on our life on this side of His death and Resurrection. Ye'shua, our Rabbi was made the High-Priest and King after the Eternal order of Melchizedek. Those of us who have taken our place in His New Covenant and have made Him our head (authority) are His priests and priestesses to the World. We are part of His Royal Priesthood. We help others know how to operate and His priests under His authority.
