The barley in the Land of Israel was NOT found to be aviv at the end of the 12th Month. So a 13th month was added to the calendar. 5 people witnessed and observed the New Moon (chodesh) here in North Idaho in the evening of April 2, 2022 (they did not see the new moon in Israel until April 3). Because we can not deny that we sighted it, the Head of the Year (Rosh ha'Shanah) is April 3, 2022 for us. If you went with Israel's sighting making April 4 the Head of the Year,
these Spring Feast dates would move forward 1 day).
